According to foreign media reports, the maximum power output of BMW x-2 M35i model is 302 Hp, which is 74 Hp higher than the X2 28 I, mainly thanks to the enhanced crankshaft, large main bearing, high air intake, low compression rate and large turbocharger.

To fully expand its power, BMW added an 8-speed automatic transmission, reducing the gearing between first and fifth gear (gearing) and the gearing of sixth gear (main reducer) to 1:1.The vehicle is powered by a full wheel, and the 100-kilometer acceleration takes only 4.9 seconds.

BMW x-2 M35i models are fitted with the most powerful four-cylinder engines to match straight-line speed.The wheel and exterior trim of this model is more concise in design, and also equipped with a limited slip differential, M Sport brake, steering device and suspension tuning device.

BMW also offers a modified version of its M Performance, whose sporty interior has been applied to all of BMW's m-series hardcore nature models, such as the larger X5 and X6 models.It's unclear whether BMW will release the X2 M model and the larger BMW M SUV, which means the BMW M35i is a mini crossover.
